Today we visited the famous Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda’s, house. It was quite interesting but also kind of strange at the same time. I guess it was weird because all of his stuff was left where it was when he was alive, so I was just a little weirded out that we were walked through a dead man’s house and looking at all his stuff. He had a lot of ship memorabilia and tried to make his house a “ship on land”. The house had some spectacular views of the ocean and we were able to climb on the rocks on the beach and get some great pictures. We also had a delicious lunch at the Pablo Neruda museum while enjoying the ocean views.

On our way back to the hotel we stopped at this resort that had the world’s biggest pool. It was fascinating and right on the beach! We were able to explore a little on the beach there and just relax on the bus ride home.
